I just recently purchased Age of Empires 2 gold edition that is age of empires 2 and the expansion. The age of empires 2 works but there is a problem in the expansion. The game installed perfectly but when i went to play the game the titles on the icons were gone. To me it seems as though it is missing a certain font. Any help would be appreciated
I'd say uninstall both, delete their remainin' folders, reboot, clear all your temp files, empty your recycle bin, disable all security and privacy software (while disconnected from the 'net, naturally), and reinstall, payin' careful attention to any onscreen prompts, rebootin' on completion of install without launchin' the game, and seein' what happens when you launch the game after reboot. Remember to put yer shields back up before venturin' out into cyberspace, though.
