That's the nature of punk Tico. We don't do I Did It My Way.

A bit yes.

How are you navigating Tico?

44 no hair left on head so I'm happy with nostril hair. Can't say I do a minutes silence for Sid but it definitely brought back memories with the Mayflower. I must admit I still haven't got the hang of this forum? Is it mainly american?

I use the mouse but I didn't mean that.

Suppose somebody comes on slagging off the Republicans. How would you know?

Yes--it's mainly American. I've been on A2K for nearly four years without any difficulty but with this new format I'm as lost as you. You could try following me by typing my name in the search box but I'm not confident it will help.

There are a few Brits on. McTag, Steve 4000, Izzie. Mac's from Manchester. Steve is also but lives in London. The Pentacle Queen is an art student but she's much too sweet for veteran punks like us.

Well I mainly hit "My Posts" first (for threads I've posted in), then the "able2Know" in the upper left (for new posts). If I was looking just for politics content, I'd hit the "politics" tag, and sort by New Posts. My navigation style is really not all that different from the prior format -- except the "tags" have replaced the "forums."

That what you mean?

Probably...but we have a fair contingent of folk from other countries.

There are a few Brits, Australians, Canadians and so on.

Which bits are you finding it hard to get the hang of?

I'm starting to sound dumb here! I've never heard of the site before and it just seems relly wide ranging. My american comment stems from the political content and the fact that football posts refer to our colonial cousins game and the fac that all the football posts are called soccer.

Nice one.
So what bands did you see in your punk days?

ancient punk: Not sure why spendi didn't steer you over to this thread ... The British Thread II

Over in that thread, footy is called its proper name.

Tico- Yes--I think so.

I do that now. JPB put me straight. I must have clicked something that threw me off before. All's well that ends well and I've found out a few things of interest in the process.

There's talk of a bid from UAE to oust the Yanks from Man.U. If that happens
ogals, thoubs, tagiyahs and shumaggs will be all the rage in the shops. Some City fans are already kitted out. They intend proving that it is not perverted to drink beer dressed in those.

I'm a Dylan freak ap. But I loved the Sex Pistols. Can't say anybody else. The Clash did nothing for me. I quite like Amy.

Regarding City (now the biggest and richest team in the land) after watching them for 30 years let the good times roll.

Amy Winehouse. She has some mysterious presence.

"Grandma's got vd" does sound like a classic. What are the lyrics?

It's probably a version of She Stood on the Bridge at Midnight. vd doesn't quite ring. Grannie's Got the Clap sounds more punk to me. Or Grandmama has a sexually transmittable disease if you prefer authentic bourgeoise MOR stuff.

I love the Pistols. What drive.
