I am looking for a good book on the concept of infinity.

Possible infinitudes, actual infinitudes, and perhaps eternity if it includes it.

Something readable yet in depth.

Any suggestions?

I didn't read it.
But I always loved Alexandre Koyré "From the closed world to the infinite universe", a critical view of the concept of infinity in western culture. I think you will love it.

The book you seek is Everything and More: A Compact History of Infinity.
by David Foster Wallace. (WW Norton and Company) 2003

Thanks Joe - MY college library had the book I mentioned above - I will give it a test drive and then borrow the book you mentioned.
