If I was the mom, I would love it and send it to all the grandparents.

Oh yay!

I was afraid it sounded a little.... I don't know...whiney?

I think his mom would get it because I'm always telling her about the situations that bring it up. (I'm going to chop down your tree. My mom said I coud. I need to use your drill. My mom said I could. I want a popsickle. My mom said I could.)

I guess I'm a little bit worried that other people might think it is kind of mean or something.

It's great. Perfect little-kidness, while avoiding the whole cloyingly-sweet trap.

It's great, except that it reminds me of a condom commercial.

Hey soz and eBeth! Thank you.

I guess I'll put my qualms aside and ask her if she want a print and if it's okay to put in my portfolio.

I really love this little kid. He's a total nut case. He is dinky tiny - about half Mo's size but he has this huge voice and he matchs Mo with attitude.

I keep warning his mom that he is going to run Kid-Fox TV.

My last post needs explaination? Do you mean the part about Kid-Fox TV?

His family is Mormon, but not the hard core Mormons. They have a creamy liberal nougat center covered by a cruncy conservative shell.

But they are kind of Fox-y. And they know Fox makes me roll on the floor having convulsions.

But every morning we kiss and make up and wander off into the sunset holding hands.

Oh! I missed that "explaination" was a link. I'm not allowed to run video on my computer because I waste enough time as it is.

I'm going to have to go borrow Mr. B's computer and see this....

In the meantime, here is a current photo of Mo just because:

That photo's a stunner. Great colors and composition, like the stripedy stuff going on all over (shirt, background, border) and his eyes are always gorgeous but that one really emphasizes them.

And the light! How do you DO that?

(The commercial is great, little boy doing all kinds of Shocked things while assuring people that "mom said I could..." [getting a tattoo, flying a plane, etc.] At the end, he toddles up to his parents' closed door and asks permission for something else and his mom is [as always, presumably] in the throes of passion with dad and readily says yes to whatever he asked. He grins and toddles off. Closes with condom brand. [something ribbed].)

I'm going to have to see if I can find that ad - it sounds hilarious!

Thanks, soz. Mother Nature gets credit for the light. Oregon daylight is one of the things that attracted me to this area. The clouds act as a huge softbox most of the time so you get this beautiful even lighting.

Oh yeah..... I always, always, always use a flash no matter how bright it is outside.

Can you guess who this is?

This photo looks photoshopped but I swear the only thing I changed was the boarder. Doesn't it look like it has paint effects applied?

Thanks shewolf!

Isn't it freaky that it just looks like that? I didn't even crop it. I just added a little boarder and left it alone. I think it is very bizarre - right down to that single drop of water coming off his earlobe.

I have never taken a photo that had a similar effect.
