So, this client was looking over his invoice and noticed an item called 'luncheon advise'. Not recalling any such thing, he called the lawyer and requested an explaination. "Oh, you remember." he says, "I recommended the Lobster Neuberg."

that's exactly the kind of stuff I was picking apart today.

.2 hours billing to listen to my message
.2 hours billing to write down my message
.2 hours billing to leave me a message
.2 hours billing to document leaving me a message
.2 hours billing to prepare the billing docket



After that, I settled a file I'd been thinking of giving to that ^^^ firm. Someone got a little more 'nuisance value' than they would have yesterday.
