They promise Prince Charles won't end up chained naked to traffic lights.
But Alice Springs councillors plan to offer the Prince of Wales a good old territory bucks night when he visits early next month.
Prince Charles will return from his Australian tour to marry long-time companion Camilla Parker Bowles at Windsor Castle on April 8.
Alice Springs will be on the prince's itinerary, and town Alderman Ernie Nicholls said he has approached the town's mayor, Fran Kilgariff, to help organise an appropriate "territory send-off".
"We are going to put it to Charles when he comes here, to have his bucks night here," Mr Nicholls said.
Not that I'm hugely fond of Camilla, you understand ....
