DVD problem..

Hi everybody, I have a DVD drive and work as a CD writer also, it's called jumbo.Some of you maybe heard of it.Ok, I've been trying to capture some scenes or images from it, but never succeeded.The problem is that the DVD is protected I guess.I tried almost everything; Snagalt, CyberlinkDVD, WinDVD isn't working, and the latest thing which was DirectDVD doesn't detect the DVD in the drive.

I'm confused , what should I do ?.Is there any alternative way?
