Quite right, DrewDad: we should have been celebrating Dodgson's unbirthdays every other day of the year. Oh well, jam tomorrow, jam yesterday, but never jam today.
I tried to organize a game of croquet but the dang hedgehogs kept wandering off.

Not to take anything away from ol' Lewis Carrol, but do you all realize that today is also the natal day of Wolfgang Gottlieb Amadeus Theophilus Mozart? (I only know this because my favorite NPR station has been playing almost nothing but Mozart all morning.)
