Sorry mate, don't play that game here, Australian Rules Football only, how can you beat that? 100.000 at the MCG yesterday, you don't get anywhere near those numbers.

There was 75000 at the semi-final on Friday night, which is almost capacity for the ground. So to say we don't get anything like those crowds is crap. And lets face it, I lived in Melbourne for 6 months, and besides football, there's fuck all else to do anyway.

..& I'm the only one of us here (on this thread, anyway) who calls Melbourne home, so ....
... let's just say that there's a bit more than AFL football to get up to! Wink

Week 1 of the semi-finals, beat the team that came in first in the competition rounds (the Dragons) 25 - 12

Week 2 of the semi-finals, beat the team that came in third in the competition rounds (the Titans) 27 - 2

Week 3 of the semi-finals, beat the team that came in second in the competition rounds (the Bulldogs) 22 - 12

Next week - Grand Final against the Storm.

This from the team that scraped into the semis in 8th place by winning 7 of their last 8 matches (including a victory over next weeks rival). Before that run, they were placed 13th of the 16 teams.

It's been described as the biggest turn around in the history of the game.
