Tree isn't causing any problems, and I'm a tenant. Called the agent, now it's up to the land lord.

Did you lose power? I've got friends in the Central Coast hinterland who only got it back yesterday. It's so weird moving to a cyclone zone and seeing the places you left devastated by weather.

We lost power early on Tuesday morning, came back on 6:30pm Friday night.

Ouch. Hate losing it up here 33C and 99% humidity. On the plus side Mrs Hinge figured out how to make pizza on a barbecue....

Been here 3 years. They call it the Hunter Valley. Should be called the Hunter Hole - as it's filled with sh!t.

Nope. Still got the house, but I'm not the one living in it. Having said that, if by some miracle I can find a competent doctor in the 3rd world cesspool otherwise known as Newcastle, who can fix my hand, then I'm going to start looking for work down there again.
