I want to send all requests for http:/ /mysite.com to http:/ /www.mysite.com
What would be the best way to accomplish this?

This is a server/network task.
Basically you need to create a virtual webserver for mysite.com which has it's homepage set as the home page for
www.mysite.com.
Additionally you will need to ensure that there is a DNS entry for mysite.com.
