Can someone help me out?
Every time I open I.E. the work offline property is checked and I can't get online. How do I keep it from checking this option?

If you can't get online, how are you posting to A2K?If you click on "work offline", it will uncheck.

Nothin like a sleuth Phoenix...eh?

We have two computers hooked up to wireless router. Ever since I set it up, the one that receives the wireless signal keeps checking it's work offline property.
I simply don't want to have to uncheck it every time I start up IE...it's a pain

Panz... try closing the window but keep IE running. Then go to the preferences and uncheck the option. Then restart the program and see if it works.

Have you tried doing it with no windows open?

I'm working on a Mac so it is a little different, but if you set the preferences while there is a window open it only changes the preference for that window... so when you restart it defaults to the original setting. If You change the preferences while there are no windows open it changes the preferences for the program (ie. this becomes the new default).

pan, I don't know the solution to your problem.

Might I suggest you dump IE and get Firefox. It makes for good browsing. Once you experience "tabbed browsing," you won't want to go back to IE. Wink

You got that right Tico... I use Safari for Tabbed browsing and I'll never go back.

If I don't solve this, I will be going to another browser.
