Quote:
"Don't cheerleaders all over America form pyramids six to eight times a year? Is that torture?" Guy Womack asked a 10-member military jury in Fort Hood, Texas.

"You've probably been at a mall or airport and seen children on tethers - they're not being abused."

Looney Tunes as Private England's boyfriend and father of her illegimate child explains why he felt it useful to:
-be someone who laughed while he punched detainees
-arrange a pile of naked inmates into a human pyramid
-forced two Iraqis to mimic oral sex as a "birthday gift" for his girlfriend
-punched a detainee in the temple so hard that it knocked him unconscious
-photos of detainees masturbating, Private Frederick said that Specialist Graner "said it was a present for our birthday."
-had attached [handcuffs] so tightly, the detainee's hands were turning purple

See here for some of his work goto

It was indeed a dastardly event. Nevertheless I don't believe he should have been sent to prison. The man was not 100% Evil. Lest we forget he was serving his country in an assignment most of us would not have wanted. We owe him at least some gratitude. Plus, as bizarre as his actions were, the recipients of his Evil deeds were Iraqis.

Far much too weight was given to human rights and compassion in this one.

That soldier should have simply been dispatched back to the states, issued a general discharge out of the Army and that would be the end of it.

We did ourselves no great favor parading the dirty linen of a forlorn soldier in public for the rest of the world to see.

It is "rewards" such as this one that dissuade men and women from serving in our volunteer Army.
