Sweet Rae, Fred is about six years old and conures are expected to live for approx. 25-35 years. We really do need to arrange for his adoption when we hit the dust. You might have to fight with Roberta (on a2k, usually in English threads), but this is a serious concern--and a reason why we would never get a parrot. So sweetie, you just might end up in our wills.
You'll have to invite Roger out to have an intellectual conversation with Fred. He knows Fred's vocabulary so well, it is predictable which is somewhat comforting when it isn't driving you crazy. Hi Fred, hi Fred, hi Fred, etc etc etc.
