Lions do not eat fish, this is correct. But the 'cat' that is in the riddle is not a carnivore or omnivore.

The language in which it works is Cantonese.

My Cantonese is somewhat limited, primarily because I dont speak any, I'll have to sit this one out.

I've come to realise that perhaps a Cantonese riddle would be rather unfair. So I've decided to give it to the closest person. The naswer was more of a parody. Panda is the answer (the writing of the cat bit may be different) the closest answer to this was CATerpillar from tryagain.
