I never had imaginary friends, but each time I found myself alone in the yard this lion would take after me. With it virtually nipping at my heels I would get inside the house just in time to shut it out. Whew.
I don't recall having imaginary friends, but my dolls were real people to me, dys and M.A. Kids don't change much in their need for taming tigers, I guess.
My daughter really thought that she was a horse, and my son became soooooo afraid of lions, that we had to make up a song to placate him when he was a child.
