Finally saw "Bad Santa" tonight. There were several funny moments but I found Billy Bob's Santa just way too slovenly and corrupt to develope the requisite soft spot for the little kid and couldn't believe that they actually took the viewing audience there and expected it to fly.
How about you? Were you sold? Why? Or why not?
I liked the movie.....so much I named my kitten "thurman murman". Yes, the movie was kind od deranged but I think it was supposed to be like that. I laughed my ass off!!
I had quite a few bellylaughs myself and my husband almost rolled off the sofa laughing at the scene in the boxing ring when all three guys punched each other in the balls and were laid out on the canvas. But Billy Bob's character was just so damned nasty and unredeemable, I was disappointed that he went soft.
I didn't love it either. It was funny, but...yeah, what you said, eoe.
