Ever see Hamlet?

It wasn't made to be "entertaining." It was made to plunge into the depths of the human condition and say something about what too often motivates people to do what they do. It is a excellent script and the acting is first rate, I could say beyond astounding. Would I watch it again and again? I think not but then it achieved it's effect on the first viewing and stands alone amongst a lot of frivolous silliness which is splashing across the screen each week. I suppose one has to be in the right mood for this kind of film.
