Good morning from our Florida radio station.

edgar, Loved Hard Days Night by the "fab four", and thanks for your comment on dear Johnny.

Two songs for the morning here. First, it's Leonard's birthday and I just found out that he's Canadian.

Leonard and Judy:

a bit of additional info.

Leonard Cohen: a life as an outsider

As the singer and poet turns 80 and releases his 13th studio album, a new book including rarely seen photographs captures the life of a man who always stood apart.

Now one that I awakened hearing in my head.

@edgarblythe,
It worked, edgar. I loved your Cohen song, dear friend. You might want to check out Wave and that great couple doing Suzanne when you get the chance.

Jackie Wilson's My Empty Arms done to Enrico Caruso's Clown song was fantastic.

For some reason I thought of this guy (poet and musician) today.

Once again, calling all musicians, poets, music lovers and painters. (concerned about JLNobody) and, of course, chatters.

Maybe "the sinners" need to hear this one, our hymn for Sunday.

@vonny,
Hey, Miss England, welcome back.

Blake's Don't Know What she likes, but this she likes that song.

Also Brad doing his Summer song.

Well, y'all, if the world won't come to us, maybe "the singing ranger" will take us there.

Vonny, Hope you liked the songs that I played. Oops missed your detective one. Will listen later.

@edgarblythe,
edgar, Buffy sounded great in that song about Poppies. Thanks, Texas, and it reminded me of this great composer:

Robert Burns
But pleasures are like poppies spread
You seize the flow'r, its bloom is shed
Or like the snow falls in the river
A moment white then melts for ever
Or like the borealis race
That flit ere you can point their place
Or like the rainbow's lovely form
Evanishing amid the storm
