Neko

I saw that that song was released in 1959. That was the year I graduated
what we called grammar school back then and went on to high school.
Man, I thought I was hot stuff. Friday night dances at the CYO. The guys
had to wear jackets and ties. Sometimes seems like a million years ago
and sometimes seems like only yesterday.

@George,
That's one of those songs I just hated. I remember it fondly.

Good morning from our radio station here in Florida.

I enjoyed Lloyd Price doing Personality.

Olivier5, Welcome back. That song was hilarious to me. Prayer in C?

Hope I didn't miss any contributions, y'all. Always good to see my friend Roger here.

Today is Van the Man's birthday, so here is a tribute:

and, a funny memories of some gulls. My late husband and I were going to Orlando on a ferry, and these birds followed us.

The laughing gull is a medium-sized gull of North and South America. It breeds on the Atlantic coast of North America, the Caribbean, and northern South America.

I like Van when he does Brown Eyed Girl. When I first heard the record, I thought he was Mick Jagger.

Here is another Lloyd Price song, from 1952

@edgarblythe,
Hey, Texas, I had to search that funny one out 'cause it didn't work for me either.

Love Lawdy Miss Clawdy by Lloyd and I'm glad that you liked Van.

Here's a birthday guy and a tribute to him:
