Canadians, ever tthe proper hosts, have gathered in Ottawa to welcome President Bush and to show support for this popular president. (FOX NEWS NET)

I wonder what Mr Martin will serve at the traditional state dinner?

Pierre Trudeau said that living next to the United States was like living next to an elephant. You don't necessarily change your habits, but you go about it quiety. When Prime Ministre Pearson publicly criticized the Vietnam War and later met LBJ in the U.S., Johnson is alleged to have cut him off at the knees when he said to him: "Lester, you pissed all over my carpet."

Canadian PM's likely will always make nice with U.S. Presidents, even when they cannot agree with them.

He will be served-
Western beef, PEI potatoes, Durum wheat pasta, served on soft wood lumber plates.

That is if he can stomach all the food his country disallows or is under exhorbitant tarrifs.

Just curious -- there is a reason this is posted in the film forum? You mean there's going to be a movie?

thank you all for the input about our presidents triumphant visitation to the humor starved Canadians.
Wiz-I let the topics drive my forum choices. I think the entire bush administration will make a great movie,
like Dr
strangelove meets Ferris Beulers Day Off

I think an approrpriate movie about the Bush administration should be directed by Fellini.

Too bad he's dead.

Who else would be willing to undertake a movie involving such a bizarre collection of humanity?

Your movie title is too long. This should be a concept movie like "The President's Analyst Just Committed Suicide Out of Total Boredom." Can anyone imagine two hours of GW's newfound diction (he's obviously been taking lessons) where he punctuates his words like some druken old queen?

Wow! My title is even longer...ah well -- anything goes.

It would be a farce right?

It already is a farce and sequels rarely top the original. It would have to be a faux documentary like Blair Witch to be marketable.
