[closed]Can't view text on thread

Been trying to view a particular thread, but when I enter there is only the list of avatars down the left hand side - and NO text! Am I being prevented from viewing as a newbie? I have posted to the thread but on return can't even view my own message. Any ideas please, this is preventing me from taking part fully.......is it cencorship........it does say 'image replaced by hot link protection'.
