I buy local goat cheese. It doesn't take a lot of goat cheese for a good grilled veggie panini, msOlga. Truly not expensive. I bought a small piece for about $3 canajun on the weekend.

OK, Ill do search at the Mediterranean Wholesalers (where I go to buy all sorts of things, from coffee, oil, pasta, cheeses, bread, etc ..) when I go there this afternoon, ehBeth. I love that place!

I think you'll enjoy it, msOlga. Try not to let them talk you into a peppercorned version. It's very trendy right now - but probably not a good place to start your experiments in goat cheese.

There are several Australian posters at Cooks Talk - you could probably post asking for a source of goat cheese where you are, and they'd be able to hook you up. They're amazingly knowledgeable on the finest points of food and food products there.
