is nothing safe from solicitors?

I made this thread just a few weeks ago! I think 1 person cared. *fart*

Now there are two.

I suspect the reason it doesn't generate much interest is because there is no directory to be published. What will be coming is "wireless 411" where you can dial 411 from a cell phone and ask for someone's cell number. It's an opt-in only service though so if you don't opt in your cell number won't be available.

Adding your cell number to the Do Not Call registry certianly own't hurt however.

I had (have would be more correct) a stalker and so I called AT&T to yell at them for publishing my phone number "somewhere" .....and manager after manager said they have never done that (true - found out later, they got my number somewhere else), BUT a published online directory IS in the works. They gave me the address to write in to say "when it is published, don't put my number there!"
