Make that two votes.

Faith No More is my favorite band mentioned on this thread so far, and one of my all time favorites.

"The Real Thing" was the first album I ever owned--at least the first real rock album I ever owned. I was twelve years old.

I was with them all the way up to "King For A Day," when my music tastes changed.

But in the past few years I have come to my senses and returned to my hard-rock roots, and I have bought all the albums again on CD.

Still listen to Angel Dust and King for A Day the most.

King Crimson anyone?

My favorite King Crimson is Lizard followed closely by Larks Tongue in Aspic and Starless and Bible Black

cav & bpb, a great record was crimso's "usa" live album. fripp, bruford, wetton and, i think, david cross.came out around '75. and then quickly went out of print. but, if you have lime wire for p to p, it shows up sometimes as an albumwrap file. pulled it down recently and it sounds pretty good. vinyl scratches and all ! I'd go with Def Leppard, Rick Savage and Joe Elliot are hot as hell. I met them twice, they are the coolest guys ever in person but Vivian Campbell cant ever replace Steve Clark...but I did like Viv when he was in Dio.

gargamel,

they are one of my all time favorites too. I first heard them on SNL...and Patton was climbing up the walls. they were so crazy, and yet, their music was so good...I really feel like free spirits, and nobody can make me feel more satisfied when i feel like being violent! my favorite song is still Smaller and smaller
