When was the last time you visited a National Park? Was there a conspicious skimping in upkeep? Would you increase the National Park's budget in spite of the budget deficit?

We visited Yellowstone about two and a half years ago and it was amazing! If there was any skimping I sure didn't notice.

I know that there was a big stink when Bush called off the snowmobile ban in Yellowstone but from what I hear the park really needed the money that winter tourism brought in.

It is a very delicate balance. I suppose I would have to know what would be cut to increase the park's budgets.

Last year, for the first time, I visited the Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion National Parks. It did not look like they were skimping on anything, although I have no basis for comparison. What an experience!
