@blueveinedthrobber,
got a 100.00 tip, and sold 800.00 worth of music gear from my old life as a live performer today. Re investing in my dj business.

Poking their heads out from a towel, these baby flying foxes are being cared for at a unique animal hospital built just for bats - totally adorable!

@nimh,
I came upon some news that explain a lot of things that have been making my head spin with confusion. Having clarification and validation makes all the difference in the world. :-)

Reading on another thread that cicerone impostor's kidney is working again brought a huge smile to my face. Way to go, Tak.

I'm grinning like a possum eatin' thistles. Today I went to a seminar for volunteers to meet potential students and two North Korean refugees chose me to be their tutor. Woot!

@izzythepush,
Well, I survived the day, but next week I'll start meeting them one-0n-one. If you don't hear from me after Tuesday, well...

Edit:

They're both female. I think I could take the smaller one in a fair fight.

Today I've been happy girl seeing Tai Chi and Mr.'s cat, the sock thief, whose name I'd forgotten but ehBeth and Margo hadn't -

It takes a worried cat (she sings.. remembering a Kingston Trio song)

I probably wouldn't stand a chance. I've seen videos of their spies' training.

We are dog-sitting for Diane this week. I had all three dogs (Sally, Dolly and Madison) in my lap watching me eat some yogurt. When finished, I got all three of them singing and howling their heads off like a bunch of basset hounds as they jumped from my lap to BBB's lap licking each of us in turn. They sang at each other non-stop for a good five minutes and had me laughing so hard, I nearly peed my pants.

Now Sally dog's hair is flying loose all over the house. By the time Diane is back, Sally will be bald and the house will look like we had an inside snow storm.

This green-skinned trio were happy to pose for the camera - with one little frog smiling happily for its close up.
