I don't know what to say, maybe something legal-ish? To me, that sounds good.

Andy has no problem with the poster appearing in the background of the show. But he is pushing for a 5-second sound clip of his band's music, which would result in a couple of hundred $ in royalties. The tv people probably won't go for it. But he tried. He is clever.

Go, Andy, go!

Sorry, ehbeth, but I can't let this story from you go untold to a broader audience. It made me laugh.
Over on one of our sleepy A2K sports threads, Ehbeth recounted about lying to her parents. She said she was going to the shopping mall with her girl-friends Saturday evenings. Actually, she went to a church to ogle the young, Catholic, hockey players attending mass.

actually had two smiles today.

first was in the middle of the dinner hour rush, lady I'd never met.
come to the order counter and leaned over, wanted to thank me and my helper (Dee, an angel) for the food. asked if I was also the mechanic guy over on the corner. I said yes, and she wanted to tell me how much she liked what I was doing with the patio.

(*she left a tip)

smile two came from a friend in Canajia with a perfect suggestion for what to plant in a spot I had been wrangling over for a week...

Believe me, I did try to lure her to the East Coast! Sadly, she has proven utterly unlurable.

I'm eminently lureable.....and I love the east coast...sadly, I have all my savings in carrots, and the airlines and hotels won't accept them, even though they are very tender.

yes, very tender is unfortunately different from legal tender; now if you should happen to have some 24 carrot gold, perhaps something could be worked out...

But, I notice that you don't put up as many charts and do not comment as often as you did in the past, Nimh. Have you lost your appetite for such things?

I have a suggestion for you, since you are suffering under the delusion that, even though you live in the Socialist Paradise of Hungary you are an expert on US politics, you pay close attention to the words of the Supreme Court nominee presented by Obama.

She indicates that, as a Hispanic woman, she has a better answer to problems than white males because of her orientation.

You don't even live in our country. You have no orientation! Get lost!

Try awakened instead of wokenup, Nimh. Or has Hungarian obliterated your understanding of good English. woken up indeed! You are full of useless idioms!

Please, Merry Andrew, that is so stale. Are you really so imbecilic that you cannot be a bit more inventive.

You might have said so many other things-for example, thus:

A person who cannot write cannot tell others how to write.

Or

What do you know of Hungarian Slang?

Or

Did you ever really learn English?

These Merry Andrew are what you could have said if you had an wit or letters to set you down, but of wit, you never had an atom, and,of letters, you need but three- A S S---An ASS.

(with apologies to the great Rostand who wrote "Cyrano De Bergerac". This was from the scene in which Cyrano encounters a "barbarian".

Ms Soto Mayor was , using terminology in a similar recent fashion to Judge Alito, who stated several times how his unique "Italian and son of immigrants" perspective would give him a unique (and assumed better)view of the law.
The wingies cant find anything to critique the nominee in her credentials (Member Ms Myeres?) so they are stooping to the dregs of their unelected leaders (namely Rush Limblow) to gather their "facts" and slogans.

Oh, Farmerman, I agree. I suspect that you haven't read all of my posts on the subject. Sotomayor' s nomination by Obuma is a master stroke. BHO has, with the stroke of the pen, won more hard core feminists and Illegal immigrants( who still vote--courtesy of ACORN) than can be imagined.

I am sure Obuma, looking forward to the 2010 election season, which promises to be chancy because of the massive Unemployment Obuma has given us with his promises of "change", would like to seal in even more votes if he could find an appropriate Lesbian disabled jurist.

But you're smiling today, anyway, nimh. So things can't be all that bad! Smile

( Idea thinking to self: I might seriously consider increasing my non-online life, too! Could be quite a revolutionary way to go! )
