[answered]trouble submitting posting

I forgot to mention that it doesn't happen all the
time.

The site's been kinda wonky. If you click submit and nothing happens, just wait.

What I do sometimes if I click and nothing happens is to just go ahead and click "New Posts" while I wait, and see what there is to see. Often whatever I was waiting for is reflected there. (New post, new topic, whatever.)

Main thing is that if you keep trying, you'll get those multiples.

I've found that if a post is 'hanging', if I try 'refresh', it will usually post - without the duplicates. Regrettably, I don't always remember my own little 'trick'.

The server load has gone haywire these days, causing a lot of work.

Because of the load, the site is sluggish and since posting is an intensive process (for the server) it is affected more significantly than most page views.

It will probably be like this for a while, as there are multiple problems that need to be solved carefully.
