I have to write a paper on philosophical issues addressed in a movie and I chose flatliners. If there is any philosopy buffs available, can you help me with all the issues addressed in the movie.

Welcome to A2K, coutho. Generally we don't do homework. Very Happy

I wouldn't have picked "Flatliners" for philosophical issues. Your best bet would be Kubrick's "Dr. Strangelove" or "A Clockwork Orange." I get a big zero for any philosophy in "Flatliners," a potboiler albeit somewhat entertaining film based on the philosophical core of "Seinfeld."

Another more current film would be "Dogma."

Other movies with a philosophical theme:

The Waking Life (my favorite)

Memento

Fight Club

Being John Malkovich

The Grey Zone

Lost in Translation
