@Curiouzzz,
I'd translate it like this:

Ad memoriam temporum bonorum

Ad --> To
memoriam --> memory
temporum --> of times
bonorum --> good

Please read this.

@SirTok,
Latin translators are almost always wrong. They're good if you don't know the root, but never use them to get the correct form. The human mind is a much better translator. Very Happy

@mac mcelveen,
Pacum is genitive plural.
I believe its use in this sentence requires accusative singular.

What's your argument for pacum?

Code:Number Singular Plural
nominative pax paces
genitive pacis pacum
dative paci pacibus
accusative pacem paces
ablative pace pacibus
vocative pax paces

@Sablicious,
Hi, some great quotes in this thread!
Now, could someone help me with what the motto for the car maker MG;
'Safety fast' would be in Latin?
Thanks,
Carl

@rulle7,
I'd say:
Salus Velociter
Note that the MG motto gets its effectiveness from an English pun.
That won't be the case in Latin.

@George,
Thank you George!!
Of course the pun will be lost but nevertheless good to know what the Latin equivalent is.
Not only a pun, come to think of it...but also somewhat ironic since my old MG Midget is fun but definitely not fast.

@Keef,
Pronunciation is wrong - Latin spoken by Romans is

Sik wis pakem, para belloom

Accent on bell
