er, cj, I'm not certain what you mean by promoting hunting and fishing. What has that to do with the sixth sense of animals?

It trains your senses and helps you get back in touch with the earth.

Native people would support cj's viewpoint. The hunt was a means of survival, but what came with it was a deep respect for the animal, and it's spirit. A successful kill wasn't celebrated as a human victory over nature, rather a solemn thanks that the animal chose to give up their life and soul for the good of the human community.
