There are so many things wrong with the demise of the neighborhood. The increase in adult supervision, the reliance on TV, the reliance on organized sports.

The really sad part to that truth is noone has learned from that mistake. Our neighborhoods are farther andfarther apart and no matter how close you are to your neighbors ( apts for example ) It is more acceptable to smile, nod and keep going then to get to know who you live by, be-friend and enjoy each others company. I wish that never happened to our society. I believe the human psyche is geared twords living in a communitynot in solitude. Confused
( Solitude not meaning completely by yourself, - but meaning- just living with family members with no acknowledgment of others around you.. )
