Most modern ministers would probably tell you there was no such thing as a curse, but I don't think anybody in Boston would be willing to listen to that tonight.

Anybody have any sort of a religious perspective on that one or anything like that or any other sort of a theory? I mean, the probabilistic odds on something like that going on for 86 years are beyond staggering and the Red Sox in theory are a very good team...

What this ALCS amounts to is the Yankees' ability to contract the best players and coaches in the Major Leagues.

Even the best will have off days, like last year's World Series.

But when they're on, they're unbeatable.

It has nothing to do with a curse.

The Yankees are to MLB what Microsoft is to computer software.
