I took for granted that contrex and controx were the same person, because of the good answers. I thoought I had made a mistake if it should be e or o.

I have learned over a lot of time and too slowly that I should just not ever respond to Dale. He has fed off of the Olden Poor Me machine for a lot of years. Bad girl. I back off from sniping and try to help, but that rarely has worked.

He has his own enthusiasms that are not common, for example, a desire for very few keystrokes in the world's computers. This has involved him in unintelligible remarks to new posters wanting to learn English.

I saw this and thought that I should comment. I consider your English to be much better than mediocre, and your grammatical ability exceeds that of many native speakers here. I am glad that Contrex is here to help you with the British version of the language. I have watched you English improve apace over the years. Don't disparage your abilities.
