Nokia 6610

Hi, my cousin has this sort of mobile nokia 6610.It has some difficulty getting " hitched" sometimes.Most of the time my cuz. can't use it for calling , and didn't know what was wrong with it .So , he took it for repairing and the person overthere said this is because something he called it the "ac".He said that it would take more than a day, so cuz. took it to another shop where a smart guy told him that it needs programming again.And you know the rest of the story after that .It was damaged

Does anybody have any idea or solution ? , because the man is so attached to his mobile phone
