What is the problem of Siger of Brabant being in paradise and what are some solutions to this problem?

I am in a hard philosophy class at university. I am not an expert philosopher and am not familiar with the terms and or different types of philosophy. If somebody could help me understand this question I would be eternally grateful. I am supposed to write a paper on it, and I can't even begin to understand it.

@berslem,
Also if anyone wants to send messages to me in my inbox, I would love to chat back and forth about it! Appreciate anyone that is willing to throw around ideas and figure this one out with me.

@Krumple,
It would depend who I was selling it to.

@berslem,
Considering 'paradise' and 'hell' as states of mind, rather than physical locations (as designed) - It is only a creative interpretation of conscious extremities and limitations.

Philosophy is opinion - Nothing else.

Clearly, the main problem was that Siger of Brabant was a full-fledged
Averroist. Such Averroist tenets as monopsychism were incompatible with
Catholic teachings.

A possible solution is that Siger advocated "double truth". There is a "hard
truth" obtained from philosophy and science one hand and a "religious truth"
that is obtained from religion on the other.
