What theories can be used in philosophy, ideology, sociology, theology and psychology to reject the hypocritical system of arranged marriages?

Arranged marriage is mostly for the benefit of two families. More likely than not, the actual people getting married don't really like it because they don't even know each other. Well, I assume the guy wouldn't really mind. We usually hear of the girl hating it. The guy might not like her too, though. They might end up with a shitty relationship but their parents don't give a **** because it's for money.
