Which is correct:
...is a special treatment proven to save lives and to reduce relapses
...is a special treatment proven to save lives and reduce relapses.

They're both the same, one just has an extra syllable.

Both examples correct, but the second is more elegant as it avoids the unnecessary repetition of 'to'.
