Oh, but we want to hear more, if you ever feel like telling about your trip.

Not to nag, just saying.

I've seen only a wee little bit of hinge in the past few weeks, djjd. I miss him on the Oz election thread, too!

How nice of you both to vaguely miss me.

Me and Mrs Hinge went to Spain for seven weeks - only had a peek at A2K if the download from camera to PSD was dragging and I'd read all my emails.

Back on board now. Damn.

vaguely Confused , you were genuinely missed

the music forum is not the same when your absent

Thanks Osso, I have only limited internet access at the moment and most of that time is used for research, which makes it difficult to participate in forms such as a2k. But I'll try to be more regular.

Thanks to dj for letting us know that the wizard is all right. My word, Acquiunk, we were truly concerned. Bet you are doing an abstract on archaeology. Missed you, buddy.

Actually I'm sitting in a lab classifying and counting old nails. Boring but it will allow us to reconstruct the chronology of out building construction on an 18th century farm owned by a very interesting individual, an ex slave who by his own efforts became moderately wealthy.

Hopefully he didn't build one of them with leftovers from another project, eh?

(Just kidding. Sounds like an interesting project.)

He did use salvaged ship nails He was cheap. I have been castigated for so characterizing a prudent and careful man but that's how you get it and that's how you keep it.
