Donald Trump refused to commit Wednesday night to accepting the results of the presidential election, saying he will "look at it at the time" — a position Hillary Clinton called "horrifying....That is not the way our democracy works," Clinton said. "He's denigrating and talking down our democracy. I, for one, am appalled that somebody who is the nominee of one of our two major parties would take that kind of position."

Suddenly, these cheese-eaters don't find this "horrifying," "appalling," and "anti-democratic" any more, eh, John?

Go figure.

You seem to think there is an expiration date on a man's usefulness. Is that because you have accomplished so many great things for the regular guy here in the States. Seems to me that the voters in Georgia are happy with Lewis, so it really isn't your concern.

Maybe my memory is getting dim, but aren't you the clever chap who refers to our current legitimate president (elected 2 terms with a majority of the popular vote) Obunga???? If it's you, you have zero credibility and should really just STFU, because you really do sound like an authentic dumb ass squared.

@glitterbag,
No one has a lifetime lock on wisdom, accurate insight or constructive behavior - even heroes.

Rep. Lewis was indeed a central figure during the 1960s Civil Rights movement as was The Rev. Jesse Jackson. Both have achieved rather iconic status for it, among many Americans. That didn't stop Jackson from subsequently extorting money from targeted corporations for"consulting services" to avoid threatened protests a couple of decades later. Even people who accomplish significant or importnt things in their lives sometimes subsequently do foolish and unseemly things. Such turns are common enough in human behavior. Certainly Lewis' actions during the Baltimore Riots of last year were less than wise or constructive, as were his comments before the Senate condirmation heariund for Senator Sessions.

That said he has indeed enjoyed great longevity in the House of representatives, and it is a safe bet that his constituents are satisfied with his performance in office as you indicated.

I think your expressed indignation is a bit overdone. You express yourself a bit like a sailor. Confused

Well Sessions doesn't have to worry about that. He's a partisan hack who's never done anything notable except get caught making "race war" remarks. Also, I'm not holding my breath waiting for you to produce a legitimate source for what you say about Rev. Jackson, either. Hint: Pro-Russian and anti-Semitic Breitbart and World Net Daily are not legitimate sources.

Typical hysterical shrieking from the left, eh?

Quote:
DESPERATE ROSIE O'DONNELL CALLS FOR MARTIAL LAW ON AMERICANS

Rosie O’Donnell desperately wants to stop President-elect Donald Trump from becoming the next president.

So desperate, in fact, she wants the military to take over the government.

With the inauguration rapidly approaching, the TV personality on Thursday tweeted a call for “martial law” to deny Trump from being sworn in as president.

I didn't see Dan Rather claim Trump was lying in the article I posted, eh? Nice try, paperboys.

@georgeob1,
Oh dearie me, what part offended you dear heart, was it me asking gooey if he is the gifted orator who calls our President ''Obunga". Well, I'm crushed, I don't know how I will carry on. Oh, and allow me to escort you to to the fainting couch.

If it's not yet clear to you George, I am totally uninterested in how you value my behaviour. You can't possibly think it matters, so why bother. Unless you suppose we could come to some symbiotic relationship where you scold me and I get to tell you what a freeping stuffy fuddy dud with control issues you are. Seriously, don't think for a minute I need or care about your tutalege. I think your a wanna-be elitist with an over-wrought vocabulary. You should be writing torrid bodice-rippers. I think that is much more suitable for you, and if you need more career advice or direction, please don't ask me because I will sure as **** give it to you.

For months, every story on the Huffington Post about Trump came with the following note at the bottom of the article.

"Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S."

This is a commie's idea of "unbiased news," no doubt, but even Huffpo had to admit defeat:

Quote:
The Huffington Post’s editor's note calling Donald Trump as a “racist” and “xenophobe” is no more, a source in the newsroom tells POLITICO....

A note sent to staff members from Huffpost’s Washington Bureau Chief Ryan Grim on Tuesday evening said the decision to remove the note was for a “clean slate”.

“The thinking is that (assuming he wins) that he’s now president and we’re going to start with a clean slate,” Grim wrote in the memo, obtained by POLITICO.

http://www.politico.com/blogs/on-media/2016/11/the-huffington-post-ending-its-editors-note-about-donald-trump-231044

"Clean slate," eh? I don't think so! Homey don't play dat.

Too late, Huffpo. You're toast.

@layman,
While all this is rehashing old tape, and nothing new to anybody informed about the HRC history, they destroyed it by thrashing the "not on this network" line over and over.

It's now established fact that Anderson Cooper had no formal journalism training, and just two years as a CIA intern, so his position and job description is no secret, here.

I bet they just hate how simply and quickly claims can be debunked in real time these days.

@Builder,
Well, ya know, when you don't want the truth known, and you deny what you know to be true, that's one thing. It's a lie, of course, but that's all you can really say about it.

But it's much worse when someone else mentions what you know to be true, and then call THEM liars on national TV. And then compound that charge with lies of your own. That kind of character assassination goes beyond merely lying. It's utterly cynical corruption on display.

But this is really directed to the chumps who believe this crap, and, like their mentors, accuse anyone telling the truth of "lying" and otherwise assault their character. They are so cocksure that they know the real truth, because they refuse to listen to anybody who is not a liar. "Everyone" agrees with them. The chumps.

@layman,
Yes, I do believe there are some paid "agents" here, and not a few sycophants padding their nests for them. Quite an interesting scenario.

More interesting will be just who or whom will get to say what is Fake Nooz ™, and what is legitimate.

We already know that Fox has escaped judgement by claiming to deal only in infotainment, and CNN's rubbish has been exposed enough times, that their credibility factor is also zero.

"Feel-good" shows, like Morning Joe aren't news sources either, and those relying upon the AAP or Reuters (is there a difference today?) can simply kick the onus can back to them, if proven to be BS.

Interesting times ahead.

@roger,
Have you heard of operation mockingbird, Roger?

It might be why the drug markets are so important to the USA's "secret" services.

They have agents everywhere, including blogs, fora like this one, social media, television media, radio, the flickers (holly and bollywood) the list goes on.

That kind of staffing level is not coming cheap. The Pentagon keeps "losing" all those greenbacks somewhere.

Where do you think they are losing them?

@Builder,
I still don't believe anyone is paying to get their message out to such a small group of people that aren't going to be influenced by anything they don't already agree with.
