puctuation

Good morning everyone,
Does the structure and punctuation of this sentence seem correct for a novel? I know that there are so many different styles of writing.
I looked at the ceiling, it was a cream color and there was a lamp shaped like tears; the walls were an apricot color, some rustic pictures hanging. I was stuck on them for a moment, then I just opened my eyes completely, a lock of hair was bothering me in my eyes, I moved it with my hand.
