The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Douglas Adams wrote the screenplay.

Never heard of the director though. Probably a good thing. Cast looks good too.

Hey, lineman. Where 'ya been? I posted this on another thread, but I am really anxious to see the movie. Seems to me that the interactive fiction game from Infocom, was the first place that I was introduced to Hitchhikers. John Malkovich is great, and I known he'll do it up right.

What's the word Letty...I've been lurking in the shadows for a bit, but usually only for a minute or two at a time. No time to hang out like I used to.

Been away so long I forgot to search for existing posts before posting myself. Laughing

Are you talking about the game Douglas Adams created called 'Titanic'?

Have you read the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy book?

lineman, I had to read it in order to play that game. The first computer that I ever owned, Commodore 64, was strictly used for playing interactive fiction. Hitchhiker's was absolutely fun and difficult. Graphics killed interactive fiction, and that's really a shame.

I think that one may download Hitchhikers free from the net, but I haven't checked it out in a while, so I'm really not certain.

As far as checking what's already been posted, that takes forever. My remark was on Edgar's thread about Kevin Spacey doing Bobby Darin's life story.

I remember that game. All text.

I competely forgot about it 'til you mentioned it. It's kind of like Zork in a way.

Oh boy!

Mos Def as Ford Prefect? Hmm. (Their names do have a certain alliance, though.)

Zooey Deschanel is too ethereal for Trillian... Trillian's tough!

Looking forward to it, though! Mebbe they can finally wrangle a decent head for Zaphod!

Hey, who's playing Zaphod?

I heard they're trying to get President Bush to play him. He'd be perfect.

Absolutely. Zork. Love all of them. To be frank, I really learn how to read a map in those games.

Soz, I swear, when Sozlet gets big enough to read, let her try one of those oldies.
