Need help identifying this rock

Few years ago I was crossing Oman Desert and among miles of sand and some regular rocks I found this one:

The stone has an homogeneous grey color, it's heavy as iron and has this strange surface.
Does any one have any idea of what kind of rock is this?

To me it looks like a meteorite. It has all the characteristics of a dense material meteorite. Ripples from super heated melted the surface. You say its heavy. Is it magnetic?

Possibly blackish basalt or even a worn obsidian
