Man, I can hardly remember any Hebrew at all. Translate some simple stuff for me:

"My name's Levi. I'm a student and I like school [high school, not a university]. Chemistry is my favorite subject. I normally have a lot of homework, which I just finished, so now I'm tired. I should go to sleep now because I have to run five kilometers tomorrow."

Thanks.

"Shmi Levi. Ani student ve ani ohev beit sefer (tihon). Himiya ze hamiktsoa ahi ahuv alai. Yesh li be dereh klal harbe shiurei bait, she harega siyamti, az ahshav ani ayef. Ani tsarih ahshav lalehet lishon ki ani tsarih laruts hanesh kilometer mahar."

That's about it.

My Hebrew is really rusty. I posted a thread asking how to translate "What, am I talking in metaphor again" into Latin, but Hebrew will do fine, if you can do it.

Hmmm. Ah, eh, ee, oh, oo, and I think ay (as in May) and ie (as in lie) are dipthongs created with one of the vowels and a yud. There are multiple ways of writing most of them though.

Edit: forgot about the shwa vowel, which I think is what is meant by the "e" in "be" above. It doesn't really make a sound, it's just a pause.

Will someone please translate the following into Hebrew (and if at all possible...Latin, Greek, or Aramaic) for me. I am lloking at getting a tattoo and I may incorporate one of these phrases into it. Thx

Father Forgive Them...

And Jesus said, Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.

Paid In Full.

Father, into Thy hands I commend My spirit.

I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, saith the Lord.

okay, I can't do any of the biblical stuff but this is what I can do

I am = ani 'אנ this is the same as I, no need for the am

liknot mazkarot massada = either to buy massada souvenirs (massada being a city) or to buy souvenirs from assada -I have no idea what or where assada is

fotokopi, she likes you. it's, hello how are you, what are you doing, busy saturday night? btw it's addressed to a male, so if you're female it's wrong.

georgianna, it's a nice name, not sure if there is an equivalent in hebrew, but there is no soft g sound (like j) in hebrew so it may turn into yorgianna or gorgianna (as oppose to jorjianna)

talmid = stoodent -oto davar (same) but generally a stoodent at uni would be a student whereas at school it would be a talmid. or stoodentah/talmidah for a female.

trinity, father=aba, son=ben, no idea what holy spirit is. three in one=shelosh b'akhat

superman, can't translate it to a suitable standard for a tattoo but the fourth one is best in my opinion
