Bulb blowing regularly.

Please I sort to know why a bulb in a particular lighting point in my house keep on blowing regularly while other bulbs are still there very healthy. I keep on replacing bulbs in this particular point all the time. Please can someone help me out.

Is in encased in any way, like spherical, and do you have some means for measuring voltage

What type of bulb is it? Is it in a place where you turn the light on and off a lot?

It's a 40W energy saving bulb (EXCEL Chunic) and its a verandah lamp that I always put on at night and put of early hours of the morning.
