My partner has chlamydia

So my partner has chlamydia and he thinks its me the one who gave it to him.
I have only had sex with him for the past 3 months and i havent had any symptoms. Is it possible to not have any symptoms even if you have Chlamydia and is it easy to cure? Also, is it possible that my partner or myself might have got it from previous sexual partners? We both didnt have sex with anyone for 3~4 months before each other.
