U.S. football season is gathering sports columns, which I've been known to read over lots of years (no matter that I've concussion qualms). But Andrew Luck has cheered me up in these days of crushing stuff happening in the world at large.

I read this a day or so after buying seven books at GoodWill ($1.98 each), which also makes me happy - so far at least, first reading a Ken Follett book,
The Modigliani Scandal.. I had not read his books before this.
