What is your opinion of Total Recall (2012)?

IMO: a typical sci-fi/action movie. Not particularly memorable, but not particularly bad either. OK to watch if nothing else on TV is interesting.

That seems to be the consensus surrounding the movie; I must admit that the movie needed time to grow on me, but finally it has.
It's something I'd rate much better than Captain America Civil War (which I think is relatively speaking a mediocre film).

The scene where Quaid has to choose Jessica Biel's character over his friend Harry is iconic: the kind of quality that's representative of the whole movie.

I understand that some real people do actually have total recall

I would think that everyone has the ability, just not equally.
