Can an East African take the ancestry dna test and get accurate results?

Hi Smile. My mother is from Ethiopia and my father is from Tanzania. I was wondering whether taking the ancestry DNA test would give me accurate answers considering I'm not from west Africa?

Why wouldn't it? DNA doesn't give a damn about national borders or latitude and longitude lines.
